Boston Wedding Content FAQ
The questions our content couples ask before they book — answered straight.
Is this a replacement for our wedding video?
No — and we'll be the first to tell you that. Content delivers vertical, social-first cuts of the day's energy, but a single iPhone shooter can't replace what a real video crew brings: broadcast-grade lavaliers on the officiant and groom, multi-camera ceremony and speech coverage, long-lens compression, low-light glass for first-dance and reception. Content gives you reels and posting fuel. It doesn't give you the cinematic feature of your day. Couples who want both bundle content with videography — and we knock 10% off the full package when you do.
What does the content creator actually shoot on?
Current iPhone with a stabilizer and a wide-clip lens for narrow rooms. Shot vertical at 9:16. The iPhone aesthetic is what makes content feel like a friend filmed it — that's the whole point of the deliverable.
How fast do we get the recap reel?
48-hour window, no exceptions. We never promise same-day. We promise 48 hours and we deliver. Fast enough for the after-party, the brunch the next day, and every social algorithm that matters.
Do we get the raw clips, or just the edited reels?
Both. The edited reels accompany the recap delivery; the raw library follows next day so the full archive is yours to cut, post, and re-share at will.
Can we book just content, no photo or video?
Yes — content is a standalone service. A number of our Boston couples book content alone because a family member is doing the photos, or because they only want their day's energy in vertical for posting.
Do you bundle content with photo or video?
Yes — bundling is the most common path on a Shutter & Sound booking. Pair content with photo or video and we'll knock 10% off the full package.
