HEAR FROM OUR COUPLES
"
Our wedding film from Christian, Chris, & the Shutter & Sound team is such a masterpiece! The cinematography is absolutely stunning, the music is so well coordinated, and the venue & decor are beautifully captured. They wove together every funny, intimate, and meaningful moment with us and our family & friends. It was so much fun to relive the day, especially with the full-length ceremony and toasts footage – we laughed (& cried) all over again. Shutter & Sound captured our day so beautifully and brought our wedding “vision” & our love story to life on camera. Not only that, but they were organized and easy to work with throughout the process – and so fun on our actual wedding day!

CHAPEL № I
You’ll be transported over a century into the past when you use this historic government building as the scene of your wedding shoot. Built in 1901, it features remarkable Second-Empire stonework, a soaring central tower topped by a 27-ton bronze statue of William Penn, and a covered courtyard archway that handles intimate ceremonies of 50 with permits.

CHAPEL № II
The striking Philadelphia skyline acts as a captivating backdrop to this urban outdoor space. We recommend standing by the iconic ledge in University City for the most cinematic skyline portrait — City Hall tower with the Penn statue visible to the left, the modern Comcast Center to the right. Festoon-lit lawn ceremonies hold 200.

CHAPEL № III
This breathtaking manor boasts beautiful cobblestone architecture, fountains and archways surrounded by vibrant greenery. Set within Ridley Creek State Park, the 1910s Georgian-Colonial stone mansion handles up to 200 indoor + outdoor ceremony guests, with the formal boxwood garden as the cocktail-hour space.

CHAPEL № IV
You can find many hidden gems at this Philadelphia park, like the mystical Stone Arch Bridge, Shofuso Japanese House and the Wissahickon Valley trails. The 9,200-acre park is one of the largest urban park systems in America. Stone Arch Bridge in Wissahickon at golden hour is the single most cinematic ceremony spot in Pennsylvania.

CHAPEL № V
If you’re looking for the perfect blend of nature and urban charm, Rittenhouse Square is the destination for you. Designed in 1825, the central reflecting pool surrounded by mature plane trees is the most-photographed urban-park ceremony spot in the city, and the Victorian-era row-houses framing the square are the prettiest portrait backdrops in Center City.

CHAPEL № VI
The 1928 Greek-Revival temple at the head of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, with the iconic 72-step ROCKY STEPS rising from Eakins Oval. The Great Stair Hall holds 800 ceremony guests; the columned East Terrace is the most cinematic outdoor portrait spot in the city. Available for evening weddings only.
Beyond these six, we shoot regularly at the Reading Terminal Market, the Franklin Institute rotunda, Boathouse Row, the Cescaphe Ballroom, and a handful of private estates we keep quiet about by request.
Did we mention we also serve the Main Line, Bucks County, and South Jersey?

X · HONEST ANSWERS
Before you write, here are the things couples usually want to know — asked plainly, answered plainly.
THE ANSWER
We film every Philadelphia wedding ourselves. Liam and Chris are both based here and have shot at every venue on this page at least once. We don’t outsource. Ever.
THE ANSWER
Yes — we have working relationships with all three and know each venue’s rules around fixed cameras, lighting, drone use, and timing. We’ll handle the venue’s production manager so you don’t have to.
THE ANSWER
Eight weeks for The Short, ten for The Feature, six for The Preview. Holiday weeks add a week. We’ll give you a date the day we sign and we’ll hit it.

I started taking photos in 2015, and after realizing I could make films where those photographs would move, I was hooked. When not shooting, you can find me dreaming about Roger Deakins, or going for peaceful walks in nature!

My passion for film began in high school and soon became something much bigger than I ever expected. Always looking for ways to improve, I decided to pursue a degree in filmmaking and shoot whatever gig came my way. When I am not making films you can find me going for long runs, exploring the city, or with my nose in a good book.
