HEAR FROM OUR COUPLES
"
Our wedding film from Christian, Chris, & the Shutter & Sound team is such a masterpiece! The cinematography is absolutely stunning, the music is so well coordinated, and the venue & decor are beautifully captured. They wove together every funny, intimate, and meaningful moment with us and our family & friends. It was so much fun to relive the day, especially with the full-length ceremony and toasts footage – we laughed (& cried) all over again. Shutter & Sound captured our day so beautifully and brought our wedding “vision” & our love story to life on camera. Not only that, but they were organized and easy to work with throughout the process – and so fun on our actual wedding day!

WE'VE FILMED HERE →

CHAPEL № I
This majestic site features a breathtaking waterfall of over 250 feet surrounded by magnificent cliffs and lush greenery. Thirty miles east of Seattle; the Salish Lodge overlooks the falls and handles full-service wedding receptions indoors while the lower observation platform handles outdoor ceremonies with mist in the frame.

CHAPEL № II
If you’re looking for more of an urban location, industrial Georgetown will be sure to impress. This South Seattle neighborhood's red-brick warehouse district, Georgetown Steam Plant landmark, and cobblestone alleys all make cinematic backdrops. Our most-filmed Seattle neighborhood for the industrial-editorial register.

CHAPEL № III
You’ll be entranced by this natural oasis of bright flowers, vibrant greenery and sparkling ponds. The 230-acre arboretum in Montlake holds the Seattle Japanese Garden with its tea house, koi pond, and stone-lantern-lined paths — the most cinematic indoor-outdoor hybrid ceremony space in the Pacific Northwest.

CHAPEL № IV
This lively pier offers a gorgeous cityscape, shimmering waters and a festive Ferris wheel — because why not? The 175-foot Seattle Great Wheel on Pier 57, the Olympic Sculpture Park to the north, and the Elliott Bay sunset from Myrtle Edwards Park are our three most-shot waterfront spots.

CHAPEL № V
The 1907 farmers market along First Avenue and Pike Street — the iconic red 'PUBLIC MARKET CENTER' neon sign and analogue clock are the single most recognisable Seattle-wedding-portrait spot in the city. The Atrium at Pike Place handles receptions of 180; cobblestone Post Alley handles outdoor cocktail hour.

CHAPEL № VI
The 1962 Space-age Space Needle paired with the adjacent Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit at Seattle Center. The Observation Deck at the top of the Needle handles intimate elopements of 20; the Chihuly Garden glasshouse handles ceremonies of 250 under Dale Chihuly's 100-foot glass sculpture.
Beyond these six, we shoot regularly at Kerry Park, Discovery Park, the Museum of Pop Culture, Bainbridge Island's Rolling Bay Hall, and a handful of private estates we keep quiet about by request.
Did we mention we also serve Bellevue, Bainbridge Island, Portland, and Vancouver BC?

X · HONEST ANSWERS
Before you write, here are the things couples usually want to know — asked plainly, answered plainly.
THE ANSWER
We film every Seattle wedding ourselves. Rachel is based in Capitol Hill and has shot at every venue on this page at least once. We don’t outsource. Ever.
THE ANSWER
Yes — we have working relationships with all three and know each venue’s rules around fixed cameras, lighting, drone use, and timing. We’ll handle the venue’s production manager so you don’t have to.
THE ANSWER
Eight weeks for The Short, ten for The Feature, six for The Preview. Holiday weeks add a week. We’ll give you a date the day we sign and we’ll hit it.
