   Getting ready

   We arrive an hour into the morning, already moving slow. Detail flatlays, the dress, the rings, the light coming through the curtains. Quiet enough that no one notices us.

2. ii.

   First look & portraits

   Tucked away at one of Charlotte's quieter corners. Twenty minutes, no rush.

3. iii.

   Ceremony

   We shoot from the aisle, the back, the side, and one frame from above if the space allows. We stay invisible. Family photos run list-driven right after.

4. iv.

   Reception

   Toasts, dances, cake. We stay through the last send-off. You'll get every plated dinner, every laugh, every quiet moment between events.

5. v.

   Delivery

   A tightly-curated 400-800 image gallery, hand-edited, delivered within 8 weeks. Print release included.

   Plate 01 · Venue

   Foundation for the Carolinas

   Uptown. Six floors, a Robert Indiana sculpture in the lobby, glass walls. We shoot ceremony from the floor above for a balcony angle, formals in the curved corridor, and walk couples to The Square for a fifteen-minute urban portrait set.

   Plate 02 · Venue

   The Mint Museum Uptown

   Levine Center for the Arts. We work the central atrium for ceremony coverage — five-story height, top-down skylight, no harsh shadows. Reception spills onto the wraparound terrace overlooking the city. We always shoot the post-ceremony exit on the staircase.

   Plate 03 · Venue

   Van Landingham Estate

   Plaza Midwood. Tucked rose gardens and a 1913 Craftsman home. We do garden ceremonies here, then walk the couple through the side allée for portraits framed by oak canopy. Best at 5pm in spring and fall — the light filters through the leaves at exactly the right angle.

   Plate 04 · Venue

   Separk Mansion

   Gastonia, twenty-five minutes west. Brick neoclassical mansion, sweeping lawn, conservatory. We shoot conservatory portraits in any weather (the glass diffuses light beautifully) and use the front portico for the kiss-and-recess frame.

   McAlpine Farms

   South Charlotte. Open-air pavilion, pond, fields. We let the day breathe here — couples are always more relaxed at McAlpine than at indoor venues, which shows in the candids. We shoot last light from the dock; the reflections are unmatched.

   Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian

   Myers Park. Stone-and-stained-glass sanctuary, deeply traditional. The upper gallery gives us a wide ceremony angle without intruding on guests. After the service we move the couple under the front-archway buttress for a single editorial frame.

  Yes. We regularly shoot outside the Charlotte metro area — including destination weddings and elopements. We add travel as a flat line item, never a marked-up surprise.
