How a Philadelphia Wedding Day Unfolds

Getting ready
We arrive an hour into the morning, already moving slow. Detail flatlays, the dress, the rings, the light coming through the curtains. Quiet enough that no one notices us.

First look & portraits
Tucked away at one of Philadelphia's quieter corners. Twenty minutes, no rush.
- iii.
Ceremony
We shoot from the aisle, the back, the side, and one frame from above if the space allows. We stay invisible. Family photos run list-driven right after.

Reception
Toasts, dances, cake. We stay through the last send-off. You'll get every plated dinner, every laugh, every quiet moment between events.

Delivery

A short list of Philadelphia-area venues we know well. We've curated these for the photographer's eye — light, ceremony spots, where to put the couple for portraits. We shoot many more across the region; ask us about yours.
The Franklin Institute
Logan Square. Marble Rotunda, Foucault pendulum. The Rotunda is our most-shot interior in the city — we frame from the second-floor gallery for the geometric symmetry shot. Ceremony in the rotunda holds 200 with no audio compromise.
Glen Foerd on the Delaware
Northeast Philadelphia. Riverfront 1850s estate with a rose garden and conservatory. We shoot first looks at the riverfront gazebo and ceremonies on the front lawn — the Delaware River reads as a clean horizon line in every wide frame, and the conservatory works for portraits in any weather.
The Union Trust
Center City. Bank-vault venue with a 50-foot domed ceiling. Reception under the dome reads with unusual scale; we shoot first dance with a wide lens from the floor for the full ceiling frame.
Cairnwood Estate
Bryn Athyn. Beaux-Arts mansion, formal gardens, twenty minutes outside the city. We shoot first looks on the front lawn, ceremonies in the courtyard, and couple portraits in the music room. The garden allée at golden hour is one of the best portrait spots in the metro.
Penn Museum
University City. Egyptian wing, classical statuary, atrium. For couples who want their portraits framed against artifacts — we shoot the upper gallery and the central atrium with no flash; the existing museum lighting is consistent.
Logan Hotel
Logan Square. Rooftop bar, marble lobby. We use the rooftop at last light for skyline portraits and the lobby for getting-ready candids — the natural light through the front windows is some of the cleanest in Center City.
Cescaphe Ballroom
Northern Liberties. Crystal chandeliers, gold trim, traditional ballroom. We shoot ceremony from the gallery for the wide chandelier frame and formals on the grand staircase. Reception is bright and warm — no flash required.
